    6. Did you like the book better than the movie? I only saw the movie which I felt was very average.

    7. Which character do you like the most? Alice Cullen

    8. Do you like the character Edward Cullen or do you like Robert Pattinson, the actor? You can answer neither. Edward Cullen the lustful vampire is far more alluring that Robert Pattinson!

    10. Do you believe in vampires? Haha..Vampires, not quite but the metaphysical world does manifest itself in other ways.

Vampires have always been creatures of mystery and love is the world's biggest mystery! =p There has always been something fascinating about Vampires, not just as objects of horror , but otherwise. I always picture a vampire as a tall, suave, lean creature< ?> with an incredible sense of charm. Hence , perhaps, Vampire and love is what , I believe , go hand in hand!

5.It has the fantasy element in it. and since many read to escape their already existing realities albeit for a short while, this works very well.plus it falls under the romance genre, and i think there are takers for it anywhere, irrespective of class, and age. and if its teenage romance with a vampire, then it is sure to work!
    6.haven't seen the movie.
    7.jacob
    8. since i haven't seen the movie i'd gravitate towards edward cullen. plus its the character which leaves an impression first more than the portrayal, if it has been etched well, its bound to work.

    . Have you read twilight?
    Yes

    2. Are you a fan?
    Yes

    3. Have you read it multiple times?
    Yes

    4. Did you buy your copy off the street or from a bookstore?
    Bookstore

    5. What do you think is the USP of the series?
Puts a very chaste, socially acceptable spin on romance. This particularly appeals to Indian teenagers.

    6. Did you like the book better than the movie?
    Yes

    7. Which character do you like the most?
    Alice Cullen

    8. Do you like the character Edward Cullen or do you like Robert Pattinson, the actor? You can answer neither.
    Can I say both?

    9. Did you read any vampire literature before Twilight? If yes please specify the names of atleast two books.
    Yes
    Bram Stoker's Dracula
Anne Rice's Interview With a Vampire

    10. Do you believe in vampires?
    No

    11. How did you come to believe in vampires? Through books, movies or other. Please specify.
I don't believe in them, although it's fun to think of a world that's not mundane.

    12. What do you associate vampires with now? Horror or Romance? Please elucidate.
Both. It depends on the context really. If I were watching a horror film, I would hate the vampire. If I were reading about a tortured creature in love, I would be sympathetic to the vampire. It depends, really.

    1. Have you read twilight?
    - Yes i have. All 4 books actually.

    2. Are you a fan?
    - (No)t really.

    3. Have you read it multiple times?
    - Nope.

    4. Did you buy your copy off the street or from a bookstore?
    - Got it off the internet.

    5. What do you think is the USP of the series?
    - The 'vampire in love with a human' story. I don't think the obsession with this idea and the near hysteria it creates will ever die out. Plus, in this book, both the vampire and the human are teenagers. So it's a little like a fantasy Mills and Boons for tweens.

    6. Did you like the book better than the movie?
    - Nope. I thought the movie was better, considering how it showed a more 'realistic' relationship between Edward and Bella. The almost father-daughter way in which it's portrayed in the book is gone. Plus, Bella isn't so self depreciating, doesn't pity herself as much.

    7. Which character do you like the most?
    - Jacob Black. He seems the most... human? I kinda like Alice Cullen and Charlie too. Alice, cause she's a sweetheart. Charlie, cause he's such a stereotypical dad!

    8. Do you like the character Edward Cullen or do you like Robert Pattinson, the actor? You can answer neither.
    - Edward Cullen treats Bella like a child and feels very 'protective' of her. He's almost controlling and thinks he knows what's best for her. So i don't really like him much. Robert Pattinson... i don't like him much either.
    So, neither.
(and now i'm going to duck and run before people start pelting me with stones!) :D

    9. Did you read any vampire literature before Twilight? If yes please specify the names of at least two books.
    - Bram Stoker's Dracula. There was another book of short stories called Thirteen. And the odd fanfic on the net.

    10. Do you believe in vampires?
    - Fantasy Creatures in general, yes. Vampires, no.

    11. How did you come to believe in vampires? Through books, movies or other. Please specify.
    - I don't really believe in them, but i got 'introduced' to vampires through cartoons. Probably Scooby Doo. There's also this movie called The Little Vampire? Also Dracula, the movie.

    12. What do you associate vampires with now? Horror or Romance? Please elucidate.
    - Dark romance. I think Meyer's made it a little difficult for most people to think of Vampires as something scary (even if her writing is just about average). Rich, Good-looking, intelligent, incredibly strong, with great connections... who wouldn't want to be all that! :P

  22. ave you read twilight? yeah!

    4. Did you buy your copy off the street or from a bookstore? borrowed

    5. What do you think is the USP of the series? complex to find dat

    6. Did you like the book better than the movie? movie,d charecterisations and settings were apt

    7. Which character do you like the most? Jacob:p for obvious reasons

    8. Do you like the character Edward Cullen or do you like Robert Pattinson, the actor? You can answer neither. Cullen

    9. Did you read any vampire literature before Twilight? If yes please specify the names of atleast two books. no but i m huge fan of books on withchraft and wizards

    10. Do you believe in vampires? no but they are fun creatures want to know one.

    11. How did you come to believe in vampires? Through books, movies or other. Please specify.Ah i don't believe in it. seems not applicable 2 me

    12. What do you associate vampires with now? Horror or Romance? Please elucidate. post feminist readings of fantasticies, oh and i thoy there is a lot of class divide that appears in the book where werewolves are the proletariat and the vampires , a bourgiouse
